Melrose-Mindoro’s Tommy Dobbs finished his prep wrestling career with a fourth place finish at the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 2 Individual Wrestling Championships in Madison.

Dobbs, a senior at 145 pounds, defeated Cumberland senior Cody Capra Saturday morning to earn a spot in the third place match. In the third place match, Dobbs lost a 7-3 decision to Pewaukee junior David Phillips.

Dobbs, who concluded the season at 39-5, pinned Monroe senior Kyle Klopfenstein Friday morning in a quarterfinal match but fell to Waupaca junior Cody Stichman in a semifinal match Friday evening.
