Coulee Region authorities ended their search this evening for the suspect in a Kenosha murder when they found his body in a wooded area south of Melrose.
Jackson County sheriff Duane Waldera said that David Spencer, 55, apparently died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Racine man's body was found about 7:45 p.m.
Kenosha County authorities believe Spencer shot and killed a 62-year-old man at early this morning at a hotel in the Kenosha County town of Somers.
Sheriff’s departments from Monroe, Jackson and La Crosse counties began their search midday.
