County escapes serious flooding

Jackson County received several inches of rain over the weekend, but escaped the severe flooding that is hitting many other counties in Wisconsin.

Flooding at record levels is hitting the Kickapoo River valley in Vernon and Crawford counties after more than 9 inches of rain was dumped on the area in a series of storms that swept through the region over the weekend.
