Incidents

June 28

-- 11:27 a.m.: Aaron K. Young, 18, Black River Falls, reported a stolen firearm.

June 29

-- 10:39 a.m.: Ronald B. Swan, 42, New London, reported the power cable had been pulled out and cut from his camper, as well as three campers belonging to his sons.

July 11

-- 5:58 a.m.: Jeremy D. Campbell, 30, Taylor, reported two tires on his vehicle were slashed.

-- 8 a.m.: Kathy V. Whiterabbit, 53, Black River Falls, reported damage to her vehicle that was parked near the entrance of the Ho-Chunk Executive Building.

-- 11:39 a.m.: Theodore K. Tezak, 44, Taylor, and Aaron Boe, 33, Taylor, reported the tires were slashed on their vehicles sometime during the night hours. A trampoline was also damaged at the Tezak residence.

-- 12:35 p.m.: Anna D. Joten, 57, Taylor, reported two lawn ornaments taken from her yard.

July 17

-- 7:50 p.m.: Police responded to a burglary at 408 E. Second St., Brockway. The front door was forced into and the door frame was broken. Numerous items were stolen from the house, including a compound bow, paintball guns and several DVDs.

July 18

-- 10:10 p.m.: Joshua S. Roseth, 22, Hixton, reported vehicle damage while traveling on State Highway 121. It was determined the vehicle had been struck with eggs.

July 19

-- 11:53 a.m.: Gary J. Eschbach, 46, Pleasant Prairie, reported a burglary at W8787 County Road O in Black River Falls. There was no sign of forced entry but items including saws, tools and gun-reloading items were stolen.

Accidents

July 6

-- Time not listed: A stolen vehicle driven by Kathleen V. Funmaker, 18, Black River Falls, was traveling on Castlemound Rd. when it left the road and struck the guard rail, coming to rest in a ditch.

July 12

-- 10:15 a.m.: An ATV operated by Jose I. Burgos, 20, Puerto Rico, was traveling on a public trail when he struck a tree as he was trying to maneuver around a mud hole. Burgos was ejected from the vehicle.

July 14

-- 5:10 a.m.: A vehicle driven by Angela M. Hutchens, 31, Humbird, was traveling on Highway 12/27 when it struck a deer.

-- 10:13 a.m.: A vehicle driven by Orin E. Elstad, 55, Onalaska, was traveling on Highway 54 when it struck a deer.

July 15

-- Time not listed: A hit and run was reported on W. Fourth St. near Waughtal Rd. A resident reported an unknown vehicle went off the road, knocked down a street sign, went through the ditch and into the yard. The vehicle than left the scene.
