Oct. 30

1 p.m.: Cenex gas station, 400 Oasis Rd., town of Brockway, reported a clerk on duty was a victim of a quick change scam perpetrated by a customer.

Dec. 8

6 p.m.: Gordon C. Bates, 67, Humbird, reported his snow blower missing from his residence at W12299 Moore Rd.

Nov. 29

8:10 p.m.: Troy G. Murphy, 40, Black River Falls, was backing out of a parking spot at Crossroads Convenient Store, 175 Gebhardt Rd., town of Brockway, when he struck a vehicle driven by Sara B. Chandler., 28, Hixton, who was pulling into a parking spot next to Murphy.

Dec. 8

3:10 a.m.: Jeremy A. Janzen, 24, Taylor, was driving on County Road N when an unknown vehicle crossed into his lane of traffic and struck his vehicle on the driver’s side.

1:16 p.m.: Vicki M. Heath, 52, Black River Falls, was traveling west on Oak Ridge Road when she moved over for an approaching snow plow and lost control of her vehicle, hitting a vehicle driven by Kevin A. Oligny, 49, Black River Falls, that was following the snow plow.

Dec. 9

5:56 p.m.: Jennifer A. Kearnes, 57, Wisconsin Dells, was traveling on Highway 54 when her vehicle struck a deer.

Dec. 12

4:10 a.m.: Brenda L. Eckelberg, 44, Taylor, was traveling on Highway 95 when her vehicle struck a cow in the roadway.

Dec. 13

1:30 a.m.: Joshua J. Strandberg, 19, Alma Center, was traveling on South Prairie Road when an unknown vehicle came up behind him. Strandberg moved to allow the vehicle to pass him, but the vehicle struck the rear of Strandberg’s vehicle, causing both to go in the ditch. The unknown vehicle then left the scene.

Dec. 14

9:41 a.m.: Averil L. Hanson, 70, Black River Falls, was traveling west on County Road E when her vehicle hit a patch of black ice and went into the south ditch, striking a snow bank.
